Patent Agent/Engineer
Altera’s professional patent agent/engineers are technological catalysts helping to identify and describe complex new technology. Altera’s patent engineers work synergistically with Altera’s patent attorneys preparing patent applications, searching for relevant printed scientific publications, and offering analysis of technology. Altera’s approach balances the legal expertise of the patent attorney with a patent engineer’s areas of technical expertise to provide a high quality service to our clients. Patent engineers are viewed as a valuable professional resource at Altera.

Paralegal
In order to round out Altera’s team of experienced professionals and para-professionals in the field of intellectual asset management, we employ a team of experienced and talented paralegals. The responsibilities of this team vary from domestic and foreign trademark and patent prosecution to litigation support. Altera considers its paralegals true members of our team, encouraging an atmosphere where paralegals work with attorneys and other professionals on client matters in a team environment. This philosophy allows our paralegals meaningful work projects and interaction in client matters, while enjoying competitive salaries and top-notch benefits.

Administrative
